Agriculture insurance is designed to cover losses affecting stock and produce for agricultural producers. Parnell is reviewing insurance solutions that would serve PNG’s farming and fishing communities. 

We are looking at industry-wide and association-level policies to make agricultural coverage accessible across PNG. We are also reviewing Parametric Insurance, which would provide payouts tied to measurable events such as rainfall shortfalls or flood levels.
